~Introduction~
[Atop a dark mountain beneath the moonlit sky stands a foreboding castle. A ball of blue light flies to the castle, followed by a yellow and a green. Moments later, the three balls of light streak from the castle at incredible velocity. Soon, a red ball of light flies to the castle.]
[Inside the castle, a very tall woman wearing armor ascends the stairway to the throne of the master of the castle, Arek the Absolute.]
Woman: Master.
Arek: Erim ... I would like to ask you something.
Erim: Yes, sir.
Arek: Who should rule, we Sinistrals, or humans.
Erim [steps forth and speaks with heat]: There is no doubt in my mind that we should rule!
Arek: ...
[Erim steps back]
Erim: But why do you ask that, sir?
Arek: Judgment time with the Dual Blade has come.
Erim: Are you saying that the Dual Blade is resonating!?
Arek: Would you ... go?
Erim: Yes, sir.
[Erim walks from Arek's throne and becomes a ball of red light. She flies from the castle into the moonlit night. The ball of light flies across the world to fulfill its assigned task.]

Maxim: Yeah.
Tia: Are you going away again?
Maxim: Well, that's my job.
[Tia comes from behind the counter and goes to Maxim.]
Tia: Be ... be careful.
Maxim: I'll be alright.
Tia: You always say that, but I always worry.
Maxim: I'll get them, but you have to buy them, Tia.
Tia: I will.
Maxim: Well, see ya! [Heads out of the shop]

Lady: Oh, Guy. You're here!
Guy: Hilda! What's up?
Hilda: Jessy was looking for you.
Guy [shocked]: Really!?
Hilda: She was upset. Did you do something?
Guy [turns away]: Nope.
Hilda [not buying it]: Yeah?
[Guy backs up, then walks away]
Guy: ...I forgot our date and went to get monsters.
Hilda [turns away]: Typical! No wonder Jessy's angry!
Guy: Women don't get it. It's a man thing!
Hilda: I get it alright. You prefer MONSTERS!

[A strong, beautiful woman comes to the scene.]
Woman: Hey, you boys! You should be nice to girls!
[Tim and Kim look at her in horror.]
Tim: Oh no!! It's Selan!
Kim: Run!!
[Tim and Kim quickly retreat, and Lemmy buries her head in Selan's arms.]
Lemmy: Selan... Whaa! Whaa! Sniff, sniff!
Selan: Listen carefully, Lemmy. They're wrong, but try to be strong.
Lemmy [stops crying for a moment]: Why? My father said it's ok for girls to cry.

Dekar [to the soldier]: Chill, good man! With my sword I'll...
{At that moments, the throne room doors burst open, sending Dekar flying. Prince Alex comes out with his assistant, Josef.]
Alex: Where are the monsters?!
Josef: In the North Labyrinth, Your Highness!
Alex: Excellent! Josef, follow me.
Josef: Yes, Your Highness!

[The man runs from the dock with enthusiasm, and two people, Eric and Stela, watch him go.]
Stela: Looks like Lexis is off inventing again.
Eric: His inventions never work the way they should.
Stela: Yeah. He sank a ship with his last one,
Eric: ......
Stela: What was that invention anyway?
Eric: A machine to move ships without wind.
Stela: Oh, that's right. Hey, your memory's pretty good!
Eric: Yeah - 'cause it was MY ship that went under.

Artea: The worst thing you can do is lie to yourself.
Milka: But, Artea. The people in the city ...
[At that moment, an elf woman comes from a house nearby.]
Elf Woman: Milka. Say no more.
Milka [turns to her]: Mother.
Elf Woman: Artea is aware of everything.
Artea: Karyn...
[Karyn goes over to Artea.]
Karyn: Artea, it must be hard on you, too.

Arek: Us, or humans...?
[Arek floats from his throne]
Arek: Which of us is really transient on earth.
[Arek heads down the stairs.]
Arek: Dual Blade, do you have the real answer?
[A shining sword appears before Arek, hovering in midair.]
