Linger, yes, linger there and hearken long

For the birds of the sky, as blue as the sea

Bring to you this melody

A song of the brightly lit golden sun

A song of wakening is joyfully sung

A melody to greet the day

And bring peace to your every way

Do not take the birds for granted

For the world is day by day

Mystically enchanted

By the things the birds will say

Let these birds sing their song

And softly, in your thoughts, applaud

For the songs these birds have sung

Are for all, each and every one
